High temps continue across the Valley

While the breezy days may bring some small relief from the heat, it’s unlikely anyone will want to be outside today if they don’t have to.

In McAllen, temperatures are estimated to reach 101 degrees, with the numbers only rising as you look west toward Rio Grande City and Zapata, with temperatures of 105 and 107, respectfully.

Even the coastal areas are seeing number a bit higher than usual today, with Port Mansfield breaking the 90-degree mark and South Padre Island right on its tail.

High winds are in the forecast for tomorrow and the weekend. Here’s to hoping they blow away the humidity.
