Due to increased humidity, it’s going to feel up to 113 degrees in parts of the Valley over the next five days.
Fortunately for this weekend, at least, we’re looking to see some breezier days, and Sunday brings with it a small chance for an isolated storm or two.
For today, McAllen is looking at a high near 97, while Brownsville may reach 93. The west side of the Valley will be seeing today’s highest temperatures, according to NWS, with 98 degrees in Rio Grande City and a whopping 102 in Zapata.
Perhaps the beach is the best place to be today, with a high of only 84.
