McAllen’s ‘Chicago: The Musical’ shows canceled

The “Chicago: The Musical” showings scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday at the McAllen Performing Arts Center are canceled, according to a Monday news release.  

Tickets purchased at the McAllen Performing Arts Center box office can be returned for a refund. Those who purchased through Ticketmaster will receive emails and an automatic refunds. Broadway in McAllen season ticket holders will receive emails when refunds are available, according to the release.

“Every effort was made by Live in McAllen to ensure these performances happened but ultimately the show made the decision to not show up,” Live in McAllen wrote in the release.

The two shows have already been postponed from its original scheduled dates in February.
