Thursday will be hot and humid with partly cloudy skies in the Rio Grande Valley, according to the National Weather Service in Brownsville.
There is a chance for isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in the western and northern portions of deep South Texas.
Brownsville and McAllen will be 94 and 97, respectively. South Padre Island’s high will be 83.
Looking ahead, the weather will be about the same over the next five days, as afternoon highs remain in the mid to upper 90s and overnight lows in the mid to upper 70s. “Feels like” temperatures in the afternoons will range between 103 and 108 degrees.
There will also be a slight possibility for isolated rain showers and a few thunderstorms.
