VIDEO: San Juan police looking for man wanted for aggravated kidnapping, auto theft

The San Juan Police Department is looking for a man who allegedly kidnapped a female at gunpoint on May 25 and stole her car, according to a tweet from Police Chief Juan Gonzalez.

The man allegedly forced the victim into her 2012 Jeep Liberty. She was later released unharmed, according to the Twitter post.

Gonzalez also tweeted a video of the alleged incident, which took place at 106 E. Farm-to-Market Road 495 in San Juan. In the video, the man, wearing a plaid blue shirt and blue jeans, is seen pulling an object out of his waist band and appears to force it in the victim’s back and then forces her into the Jeep through the driver’s side door.

The San Juan police is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the man’s arrest. Anyone with information should call (956) 282-8477.

Gonzalez also tweeted that the man’s vehicle may be a white Ford Truck.
