Those looking for relief from the heat won’t get it anytime soon, as temperatures Friday will feel somewhere between 105 to 110 degrees in the Rio Grande Valley, according to the National Weather Service in Brownsville.

It’ll be much of the same for the rest of the Memorial Day weekend, with the five-day outlook showing highs ranging between 100 and 102 degrees through Wednesday. Breezy conditions, however, are expected through the next several days.

Specifically, Saturday has lows of 78 to 80 degrees and highs between 94 and 101; Sunday’s temperatures will range between 76 and 79 as the lows and between 94 and 100 for the highs; and on Memorial Day, the lows are forecast between 75 and 78 degrees, and 95 and 100 degrees.

Due to the humidity, the following days are also expected to feel as hot 110 degrees in the warmer spots, according to the NWS in Brownsville.
