Thursday will be another warm day in the Rio Grande Valley, according to the National Weather Service in Brownsville.
The afternoon “feels like” temperatures will be between 105 and 110 degrees.
If you plan on being outdoors today, the National Weather Service, advises to drink plenty of water and to check the backseat for children and pets before locking your vehicle.
High temps around the Valley include 93 in Brownsville, 95 in McAllen and 83 in South Padre Island.
Looking ahead for the Memorial Day weekend, hot, humid, and breezy conditions will continue into the weekend and early next week. Expect afternoon highs to reach the 90s each day, with triple digit temperatures possible in the western portions of the Valley. The humidity will make it feel more like 100 to 110 each day.
