There is a wind advisory from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Cameron and Willacy counties. Expect southeasterly winds to be between 25 and 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Use caution while driving, especially on east-west roadways and in high-profile vehicles. The NWS recommends to tie down any light-weight and loose outdoors items.
Expect skies to be a bit hazy, especially in Cameron and Willacy counties.
Brownsville’s high will be 87 while McAllen is expected to reach 91. South Padre Island will be 77.
