The Rio Grande Valley can expect a warm day with highs in the lower 90s and upper 80s across most the region, according to the National Weather Service in Brownsville. Temperatures will be in the 70s on the coast.
Cloudy skies are expected in the morning and should be partly cloudy in the afternoon. A wind advisory is in effect until 11 a.m., but winds should die down throughout the day.
Temperatures are expected to fall Thursday night with a chance of rain increasing through early next week. Friday could see high temperatures in the mid 60s and not warming up until early next week.
