There could be light rain or/drizzle through the day. Light winds will increase by the afternoon.
McAllen is expected to be 76, while Brownsville will be 75.
On Saturday, expect elevated fire weather conditions after a weak cold front moves in. Winds are expected to be breezy both ahead of the front and behind the front. Temps will range from 77 to 82 degrees with lows in the 60s. There is also a 20 percent chance of rain along the coast.
On Sunday, lows will drop into 50s with highs in the 70s.
