In the Spanish-language play, a happy couple plans a weekend getaway — each going their own way. Cristina is traveling with her mom, while Antonio is heading to a business trip. Without telling each other, both of them have plans to come back home with their respective lovers. The situation gets complicated when their neighbor is suddenly locked in their apartment. Cristina shows up with Pedro, her lover, and hours later Antonio returns with his lover Graciela. It is now Albertano’s responsibility to cover this up and make sure no one finds out.

SUNDAY SPEAKER: LOST STORIES OF THE HIDALGO COUNTY PUBLIC CEMETERY

Cemeteries across South Texas host the remains of settlers of the region and their families. Many people, however, were not fortunate enough to have a family cemetery or a place to be buried. For those who had no family, a public burial ground would be the final resting place. Sarah Rowe, Ph.D., from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and her students created a project that would provide historical context for this cemetery.
