Expect cool temperatures to remain in the Rio Grande Valley on Wednesday with clouds gradually clearing, according to the National Weather Service in Brownsville.
Breezy north winds will continue along the coast and just offshore.
As far as highs for Wednesday, McAllen will be 69, Brownsville 66 and South Padre Island 62.
Warmer conditions will end the week. A weak cold front will makes its way into the Valley on Saturday, bringing with it breezy north winds, lower humidity and an elevated fire danger. Highs on Saturday will be in the 80s with lows in the 60s.
On Thursday, highs will range from 68 to 73 with lows in the 50s. There is also a 20 percent chance for rain Thursday. Highs will range from 77 to 83 on Friday with lows ranging from 56 to 63. Highs will be in the 70s and lows in the 50s on Sunday.
