A cold, wet, breezy and dreary day is in store Friday for the Rio Grande Valley, according to the National Weather Service in Brownsville.
Temperatures will steadily drop into the mid 40s by Friday afternoon with light to moderate rain possible through the day.
The high in both McAllen and Brownsville will be 44.
On Saturday, low temperatures will range from 37 to 44 degrees with high’s ranging from 45 to 52 degrees. There is a 60 percent chance of rain as well.
The region will begin to warm up again on Sunday with highs in the 60s.
