Vipers Fall Short to Austin Spurs

CEDAR PARK  – The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (2-2) fell to the Austin Spurs (2-2), 114-97, on Tuesday at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park.

Houston Rockets assignee Zhou Qi netted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Vipers. Angel Rodriguez led the Vipers with 24 points and three rebounds, three assists, and four steals.

The Spurs were led by both Jaron Blossomgame and Jeff Ledbetter with 26 points. Ledbetter recorded six 3-pointers, eight rebounds, six assists, and a lone steal. Julian Washburn also netted a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds.
