Vipers take out Go-Go for first road win

WASHINGTON, DC – The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (2-1) defeated the Capital City Go-Go (1-3) 111-101 on Sunday afternoon at the Entertainment and Sports Arena. The win gave the Vipers their first road win of the season.

Five Vipers players scored double figures led by Danuel House. House led the team with season high 33 points, including six 3-pointers, three rebounds, two assists and one steal. Michael Frazier earned a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, adding four assists, two steals and one block in 34 minutes. Rockets assignee Zhou Qi also earned a double-double with 15 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. Brandon Sampson scored 17 points.

The Go-Go were led by Wizards assignee Chasson Randle, who scored 24 points with five rebounds and two blocks in 35 minutes. Tiwian Kendley totaled 17 pointsof Capital City. Chris Chiozza led the Go-Go with seven assists and three steals.
