Weisgerber out at least 14 days

HIDALGO - Killer Bees coach Chris Brooks said Sunday that forward Trevor Weisgerber will be out for at least 14 days after getting knocked unconscious late in RGV's 4-3 win Saturday night over Wichita. Brooks said Weisgerber was doing well and had a coherent conversation with the coaching staff and trainer Jorge Garcia late Saturday night but didn't remember much about the injury.

Weisgerber, who is leading the Bees with 19 points, was cleared to leave a Wichita-area hospital early Sunday and was scheduled to fly back to the Rio Grande Valley later in the day.
