Jackson scores 17 in 60-42 UTEP win over UTPA

EL PASO - Stefon Jackson scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Texas-El Paso to a 60-42 victory over Texas-Pan American on Friday night.
Gabriel McCulley and Arnett Moultrie were the only other players to score in double digits for the Miners (8-5) with 13 and 10 points, respectively.
Two players scored in double figures for Texas-Pan American (4-9). Nick Weiermiller scored 16 and Emmanuel Jones added 10.
The Miners outscored the Broncs in the paint, 32-18.
