Roadrunners drop fifth straight

EDINBURG — The Edinburg Roadrunners lost their fifth game in a row after an 11-2 loss to the McAllen Thunder on Saturday night.

Antoin Gray hit two home runs for McAllen (24-36), including a three-run shot in the sixth inning that gave the Thunder an 11-1 lead.

The Roadrunners (24-38) and Thunder will play a doubleheader Sunday at Edinburg Baseball Stadium to make up for a rain out. The double-header will consist of two seven inning ball games and game one is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
