Murray snaps Bees skid

From Bees and Local Reports

ALLEN — Goalie John Murray made 36 saves to lead the Killer Bees to a 3-0 win Saturday over the Allen Americans. Dan Gendur, Aaron Boogaard and Tomas Klempa scored for the Bees, who were outshot 36-15 but still managed to beat the powerful Americans.

The win snaps the Bees’ three-game losing streak.

Murray’s shutout is his second of the season and just the second ever by a visiting goalie against the Americans. The last one came Dec. 18, 2010.

The teams play again today in Allen.
