Legends end Vipers' six-game winning streak

FRISCO — The Rio Grande Valley Vipers had their six-game winning streak stopped on Sunday afternoon with a 105-101 loss to the Texas Legends. The Vipers (17-10) trailed by 10 with 3:29 remaining and nearly caught the Legends with a 9-0 run that pulled them to within 102-101 with 1:36 left. The Vipers were held scoreless after that.  Greg Smith led the Vipers with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Ben Uzoh had 17 points. The Vipers will next play at Austin for a back-to-back series beginning Tuesday.
