Kirakossian in second after two rounds

LAREDO — University of Texas-Pan American Broncs men’s golfer Kevin Kirakossian is in second place, five strokes back, after two rounds of play at the Jack Brown Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by Texas A&M International University, at the Laredo Country Club.

Kirakossian shot a 77 in the first round, but bounced back with a 73 in the second round, tied with Tyler Maranville (Tiffin University) for the best score to put his total score at 150. Maranville leads the way with a 145 through two rounds, one stroke over par.
