82 student-athletes make AD Honor Roll

EDINBURG — The University of Texas-Pan American Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Thursday that 82 student-athletes made the Athletic Director Honor Roll by achieving a GPA of at least 3.0 during the fall semester and continuing to compete in the spring.

In total, 96 out of 188 (51.1%) student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester. As a whole, the department’s GPA was 2.949.

Thirteen student-athletes recorded a perfect GPA of 4.0 in the fall.

Women’s Track & Field had the most student-athletes named to AD Honor Roll, with 19, while women’s tennis had the highest percentage, with all five student-athletes eligible for the honor qualifying.
