Vipers win third straight against Reno

RENO, NEV — The Rio Grande Valley Vipers won their third in a row with a 129-112 victory over the Reno Bighorns. The Vipers (14-9) were led by Kelvin Lewis and Willie Warren, who scored 22 points each and Damian Saunders and Greg Smith, who had 20 apiece. Lewis made 4 of 5 shots from the 3-point arc, and Saunders had a game-high 12 rebounds.

The Bighorns were paced by Andre Emmitt’s 32 points. The Vipers and Bighorns (11-11) will play again at 9 o’clock tonight. After that, the Vipers return home on Wednesday against Fort Wayne.
