Vipers deal Hubbard to Reno

McALLEN — The Rio Grande Valley Vipers acquired forward Haminn Quaintance, Reno’s second-round pick, in Thursday’s D-League draft via trade for forward Marcus Hubbard, who was on the Vipers’ returning players list.
Quaintance, a Kent State product, played for two teams in Israel last season, averaging 9.7 points and 8.8 rebounds in 13 games.
