Silverados lose to end first season
Comments 0 | Recommend 0YAKAMA, Wash. - The Rio Grande Valley Silverados lost 126-96 to the Yakama Sun Kings to conclude their inaugural season.
"It was what it was," Silverados coach Derrick Rowland said. "We didn't play great and we still won two quarter points. It was a good game until the fourth quarter."
Jason Forte led the Silverados with 23 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. Gordon Klaiber contributed 21 points, and Trent Eager added 19 points and seven rebounds.
"We are coming back tomorrow, and getting back to work first thing Tuesday morning for next season," Rowland said.
