Gendur hat trick not enough in Bees loss
TULSA, Okla. — Dan Gendur had his first Killer Bees hat trick but the Bees still fell 5-4 on Tuesday night to the Tulsa Oilers. The loss knocks the Bees (18-18-6) back to .500 and five points behind the Oilers and idle Texas for fourth place in the Berry Conference.
Michel Beausoleil’s goal 1:59 into the third period broke a 4-4 tie and held up as the game-winner.
The Bees led 3-1 with 2:01 left in the first but allowed Tulsa to tie the game with two goals before the end of the period.
Bees goalie Wylie Rogers allowed five goals on 32 shots to take the loss.
