Kirakossian finishes second in Laredo

LAREDO — University of Texas-Pan American Broncs men’s golfer Kevin Kirakossian finished in second place, one stroke back, and the Broncs finished third as a team at the Jack Brown Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by Texas A&M International University, at the Laredo Country Club.

Kirakossian shot a 72 in the third round to finish with a score of 222, six over par and one stroke behind Jim Knous of the Colorado School of Mines, who led all golfers with a score of 70 in the final round for a final score of 221.

As a team, the Broncs shot 317 in the final round, to finish with a score of 935, 15 strokes behind second place Tiffin University and 39 strokes behind first place Colorado School of Mines
