Bees lose again in Laredo

From Local Reports

LAREDO — Rusty Masters’ second period goal held up as the game-winner Saturday, giving the Laredo Bucks a 3-2 win over the Killer Bees. Masters, Matt R. Pierce and David Inman scored for the Bucks, who swept the teams’ weekend series in Laredo.

Tomas Klempa extended his point streak to 13 games with his goal, while Dan Gendur also found the net.

The loss continued the Bees’ problems against the last-place Bucks. Despite Laredo’s struggles, the Bees are just 4-4-1 against the Bucks. The Bees also fell to just 5-11-2 away from State Farm Arena.

John Murray stopped 22 shots in the loss.

The Bees next play on Friday when they host the Bucks.
