Roadrunners win in 11 innings

EDINBURG — The Roadrunners (33-52) got their first run in the top of the third. Clint Stroud smashed a double to left center field to lead off the inning. After moving to third on a fly ball to right, Stroud came into score on an RBI single by Antonio De Jesus making it 1-0.

The Thunder (34-51) responded in the next half inning.

The Edinburg Roadrunners got an RBI single by Robert Matlock in the top of the 11th inning sending them to a 3-2 win over the McAllen Thunder Tuesday night at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.
