Roadrunners bats come alive to topple Colts

EDINBURG — The Edinburg Roadrunners scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth and fifth innings on their way to a 9-1 victory over the San Angelo Colts on Saturday night at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.

Aaron Guerra (6-6) pitched a complete game and allowed one run while scattering eight hits and striking out seven for his sixth win of the season.

The Roadrunners and Colts will play the third game of their four-game series tonight at Edinburg Baseball Stadium. The Roadrunners’ Toro Trevino (4-5) is expected to face Chandler Barnard (9-2) with the first pitch scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
