Coyotes cancel three-game weekend series

EDINBURG - The Edinburg Coyotes announced Friday that the three-game series with the Alexandria Aces is cancelled due to unplayable field conditions at Edinburg Baseball Stadium caused by Hurricane Dolly. The games will be made up at a later date.

Fans can exchange all pre-paid tickets to any other Coyotes games during the season at the box office located at the stadium.

The Coyotes will return to Edinburg on Aug. 5 to begin their final homestand against the Aces. The first pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. The Coyotes will then host the Laredo Broncos on Aug. 8 for a three-game series.
