Broncs routed by Prairie View A&M

From UTPA reports

EDINBURG - The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs wrapped up their three-game series against Prairie View A&M on Sunday at Edinburg Baseball Stadium where the Broncs dropped a 14-5 decision to the Panthers.

"The offense did well; they are still working hard with the 15 hits they got. We continue struggling with the same problem and that's our pitching," coach Manny Mantrana said. "We'll have a day off and start off new on Tuesday."

UTPA trailed by one run entering the fourth but up five runs in the fourth to give the Panthers a 7-1 advantage.

The Broncs were able to score a run in the bottom of the fourth to trail by five, but allowed Prairie View to score a single run in the fifth to make the score 8-2.
