SELDEN, N.Y. — The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs baseball team split a doubleheader with the New York Institute of Technology Bears, falling 1-0 in game one and winning 10-6 in game two on Sunday at Suffolk County Community College.

Alex Howe led the Broncs (12-15, 3-1 GWC) offensively, going 4-for-8 with a walk, two RBI and a run scored. PSJA alum Bryan Ramirez went 3-for-7 with a double, two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base.

Robert Loftus led the Bears (3-22, 1-3 GWC) by going 5-for-8 with an RBI and two runs scored out of the leadoff spot.
