Bees announce signing of two more goalies

HIDALGO — The Killer Bees on Wednesday announced the signing of goalies Brad Phillips and Dan Rosen. With those two signings, the Bees have 19 players and three goalies inked for training camp.

Phillips, 21, was a seventh-round draft pick of the Philadelphia Flyers in 2007 and spent last year at Notre Dame. After missing the 2008-2009 campaign with a knee injury, Phillips appeared in 10 games last year, going 2-3-3 with a 2.47 goals-against average and .911 save percentage.

Rosen, 23, played the last four seasons at Brown University where he was once a teammate of Bees forward Sean Muncy. Last season, Rosen appeared in seven games and went 1-2-0 with a 4.20 goals-against average and .876 save percentage.
