Comedian should shun politics

To the editor:

Why are some people such hypocrites hiding behind their heritage pride, but yet showing their bias on the political spectrum. As an example, the comedian George Lopez criticized all those Republicans who voted against the confirmation of Sonia Sotomayor as anti-Latinos. If this is all about race and not political ideology, where was he when Alberto Gonzalez was being torn to pieces by the left? I think George Lopez is funny, but not a very smart man when it comes to the politics of this country.
