A good doctor can be all the difference
Comments 0 | Recommend 0We mean, combat-cured, ex-soldiers; hard businessmen; toiled hard hats; farmers; editors - even at 76, like myself - are really nothing more than babes in the woods who need a little love and assurance - a pat on the head or the butt - now and then.
If most maladies are somewhat mental, a caring call from a doctor can work miracles. I recently spent four horrendous days and nights with terrible diarrhea and fever, causing me to see a doctor. I was incredibly surprised when he, Dr. Manjo Gogia, called me long-distance (two cities away) the following day to ask how I was doing and to assure me I would feel better in a couple of days. I felt better almost immediately from his call and certainly the next day.
Thank you Dr. Gogia.
Take heed, doctors. Miracles are in your hands.
