Music Afterhours Outdoor Concert series announces first bands
Comments 0 | Recommend 0MCALLEN, TX—Beginning Friday, October 5th at Archer Park the McAllen Chamber of Commerce will host the Music Afterhours Outdoor Concert Series. The first of the Music Afterhours concert series features Willy Jaye and Dave Williams. The live music series begins this Friday, October 5th from 6:30 to 9:00pm, and will run through May 2008.
“We are extremely excited about the Music Afterhours Outdoor Concert Series. This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together as we celebrate art and music,” said Annabell Cortina, Special Events & Media Coordinator for the McAllen Chamber of Commerce. “This is an invitation to all art and music lovers. Limited seating will be available, although everyone is encouraged to bring their blankets and coolers to relax and enjoy the show,” said Cortina.
The first Friday of every month the concert series will be held at Archer Park to supplement Art Walk; and on the third Friday of every month the concerts will take place at the McAllen Convention Center Grandstand.
The Music Afterhours Outdoor Concert Series will be free and open to the public and will showcase artists from around the Valley. The shows run from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.
