NORTH OF MISSION — A teenager was arrested in connection with a robbery late Friday night at a drive-through convenience store.

Wearing an orange jumpsuit, 17-year-old Juan Diego Jimenez went before a justice of the peace Saturday morning at the Hidalgo County Jail, where he was charged with one count of aggravated robbery and had his bond set at $500,000.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Las Carretas Drive Thru, near the intersection of Doffing Road and Farm-to-Market Road 107, which Jimenez reportedly used a handgun to rob before being arrested shortly thereafter, records show.
