EDINBURG — Edinburg police confirmed a two-car wreck left three people injured on southbound U.S. 281 by the Canton Road exit Wednesday night.
A Ford Mustang that stalled in a highway lane was rear-ended by an Infiniti about 9 p.m., police said.
A man and a woman were inside the Infiniti, while two men and a woman were inside the Mustang.
The trio inside the sports car was transported to a local hospital.
Police said the woman in the backseat had to be extracted from the car due to the nature of the wreck.
