Peña to receive Law & Order award

The Texas District and County Attorneys association is scheduled to recognize state Rep. Aaron Peña, D-Edinburg, with its Law & Order Award at 1 p.m. Thursday at the University of Texas-Pan American.
Peña will be recognized for work on criminal and public safety issues during the 80th legislative session, which wrapped up in May.
TDCAA will also present a legislative update to prosecutors from around the state and region during the ceremony.
