Judge scheduled to hear more pre-trial motions in Guerrero case
EDINBURG - The judge in Omar Guerrero's sexual assault trial is expected to hear more evidence behind closed doors this morning.
Judge Aida Salinas Flores barred the public last week from hearing a pre-trial evidentiary hearing. Guerrero's attorney, Ric Salinas, planned to introduce evidence about the alleged victim's sexual past.
Flores also issued a gag order on everyone in the case barring them from discussing the case and making it impossible to know what was discussed in the closed hearing.
