McAllen attorney appointed to state board of social worker examiners
AUSTIN — Gov. Rick Perry appointed McAllen attorney Mark Talbot and two others to the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners, which regulates the social work profession.
His term is set to expire Feb. 1, 2013.
Also appointed were Jody Anne Armstrong of Abilene and Denise V. Pratt of Baytown.
Talbot is a member of the Federal Bar Association, Hidalgo County Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. He also is a member of the Ronald McDonald Charity Foundation board, State Bar of Texas Region 12-B Grievance Committee and McAllen Airport Board.
