NEW RESTAURANTS 2010: Vintage Room

The Monitor

Vintage room is a steak and seafood restaurant from the same owners that brought you Thirsty  Monkey. It sits in the direct center of 17th Street near the intersection with Chicago Avenue.

The restaurant offers a menu that includes filets ahi tuna, snapper and more. Later in the evening, the bar business picks up. Vintage Room regularly books live bands to play.

The venue also recently hosted Thirsty Monkey’s third annual Mardi Gras party, complete with beads and hurricane mixed drinks. The Monkey should be back in a couple months, opening nearby. Vintage Room, however, offers its own specialties. If you haven’t yet, stop by and give it a try.
