Festiva's got tickets for seven great shows coming up this week.

To register, go to www.twitter.com/festiva or www.twitter.com/monitornews and sign up to receive our live news updates. If you're already following us on Twitter, you're good to go!

At an unrevealed hour on Thursday, you'll receive an update to return to a page here on themonitor.com. There, all you have to do is tell us which band you'd like to see in a comment at the bottom of the page. Winners will be chosen at random, but the more times you comment, the better your chances of winning.

So which bands will you have a chance to see after all?

>>> GRUPO FANTASMA, the Grammy-nominated group that incorporates elements of funk, mambo, merengue, and cumbia into their unique style. Playing Friday night at Inca Del Sol in Brownsville. Read more

>>> LA RIOTS - Known in the electro scene for their remixes for artists like The Ting Tings, Crystal Castles, Chromeo, N.E.R.D. and more, these DJs have already impressed those in the know and are working on ruling the rest of the world. Playing Friday night at Shine in Downtown McAllen. Read more

>>> THE SECRET HANDSHAKE - This electronica/synthpunk act has performed to nearly sold-out crowds twice in the Valley already. Catch the Secret Handshake next Thursday at Las Palmas in Mission. Watch a video

>>> THE PHYSICS OF MEANING - This avant-garde project is picking up steam as one of the most original new acts to emerge in the area. Read more.

>>> NOCHE DE ROMANCE - Del Castillo's front man joins Dulce Maria Gonzalez and Willie Alvarado of Los Lonely Boys to perform a number of regional Latin classics on Sunday at Cine El Rey.

The Kave, possibly the best venue in the Valley for Spanish music, will welcome a live tribute to one of the world's biggest bands. And given the close proximity to Valentine's Day, you can expect to hear all of Coldplay's mushy songs. Friday night at 10 p.m.
