Telenovela star JenCarlos Canela to visit Valley

If you’re big into Telemundo’s telenovelas, then you have something to be excited about. JenCarlos Canela, the 21-year-old Cuban-American lead of Mas Sabe el Diablo, is coming to McAllen on Wednesday, Jan. 13, Telemundo has announced.

H.E.B. Plus will host a CD signing with Canela, who is also a singer. That event happens from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Later in the evening, McAllen’s Ice House nightclub will host a private party with the star.

So how can you gain access to the party? How can you spend an evening with that one guy from that one telenovela? Simple, watch lots of Telemundo.

The television station will pass out tickets this week throughout the Valley. They will announce the locations on Telemundo. You can also win tickets by visiting www.telemundo40.com. No one will be admitted to the private party without a ticket.

In addition to his singing career and acting, Canela also ranked as one of People en Espanol’s 25 most handsome men of 2009.
