WIN TICKETS: Shwayze & DJ Skeet Skeet

Half a dozen concerts will hit South Padre Island in the next few weeks for spring break.

Akon, Shwayze, LMFAO will all throw huge parties on the beach. With the recession going on, would be spring break partiers might not have money to fly to Cancun. But the Island is an affordable drive away.

This week, we're giving a few lucky winners a pair of tickets to see DJ SKEET SKEET (who?) and SHWAYZE (who?).

To win, post as many comments as you can at the bottom of this story. The top posters will be awarded the tickets. The contest ends March 13 at noon and winners will be notified by e-mail (don't forget to check). They will have to pick up their tickets by 5 p.m. that day at The Monitor office, located in McAllen at the corner of Nolana and Jackson Road.
