Selena Gomez might be a bit of an overachiever — though her fans probably don’t mind at all.
The 18-year-old actor/singer keeps adding more “slashes” to her title — singer/entrepreneur and actor/charity spokesperson.
Best known for her role as Alex Russo in the popular Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place, Gomez will be returning for a fourth season.
Recently, Gomez and her band The Scene released their second album A Year Without Rain, and they’ve been on tour to promote it. Less than six months after the band’s sophomore release, Gomez’s label announced a new single, “Who Says.” The song will debut on Ryan Seacrest’s “On Air” morning radio show in March. The upcoming album that has yet to be titled is scheduled to drop in June.
Gomez keeps herself busy with project after project, including her own clothing line, films and serving as a UNICEF ambassador.
The teen queen paired up with K-Mart and a couple of fashion designers to come up with Dream Out Loud, a collection which debuted last summer.
She’ll star alongside Leighton Meester (Gossip Girls) in the upcoming comedy Monte Carlo, which is slated for release in July.
As an ambassador for UNICEF, Gomez has raised money and awareness for several of their programs, including Trick-Or-Treat, which encourages children to carry an orange box door-to-door during Halloween to collect donations for the organization.
