RESTAURANT REVIEW: Korea Garden
The Korea Garden offers a dining experience.
Partitions divide each table on one side of the restaurant, so that people can dine with absolute privacy. A room in the back allows parties to enjoy their dinners without interrupting other diners. The Korean theme is carried throughout the restaurant starting with the large fountain at the entrance.
Walking into the restaurant feels a bit like setting foot into another land.
The menu adds to that feeling. There is nothing Valley-like on it and, for me at least, it was a bit intimidating at first. I had trouble deciding what to order, but I eventually chose what I knew - chicken teriyaki ($11.99). The dish was good but I was a little jealous of my husband. He was more adventurous and ordered the seasoned BBQ beef in earthenware bowl ($13.99). That dish was out of this world good. I must admit that I ate more of his meal than mine; fortunately the dish was large enough to share.
Next time I go to the Korea Garden I promised myself I would be more adventurous and venture out of my comfort zone. Because the dishes that are a little unique are definitely delicious.
