WIN TICKETS: Opera Gala Stravaganza D'amore

Whether it is your first time or you are an avid supporter of opera, the Opera Gala Stravaganza D’amore will be an unforgettable night. An evening of opera choruses, soloists, music from Mariachi 7 Leguas and more on Saturday at the McAllen Civic Center is a great introduction to opera.

Maestro Mazias de Oliveira who founded South Texas Lyric Opera will also be performing as a tenor in the Opera Gala. Other soloists include soprano Edlyn De Oliveira, mezzo-soprano Madeline Elizondo and tenor Timothy Birt.

Also scheduled to perform are the Freddy Gonzalez Elementary Choir and the STLO chorus.
