JACQUELYN MOORE: The Bible Babe

These days, Jacquelyn Moore can just as easily rock a dress as she can rock the stage. But that wasn't always the case.

"I was total tomboy, skinny stick, always outside playing around," she said.

In third- through fifth-grade, Moore was the only girl in her class, so she quickly learned how to fit in with the boys, never shying away from playing sports like basketball, soccer and football.

Her tomboy attitude continued into high school. She didn't wear makeup until she was a junior, had her first boyfriend only after graduating and got her first kiss at 19.

Now, as a singer in the indie rock Christian band We Light the Night, Moore says her years of hanging with the guys prepared her well for being the only girl in the band, which includes husband Ryan Moore. And these days, being the sole female in a group of guys comes with perks.

"I never touch a door," she said. "They're pretty gentleman-like. I've gotten spoiled; it happened somewhere along the way."

  Licking my lips. I also eat with my fingers and lick them while I'm eating.

  My singing. That's usually what I get complimented on the most.

  Either my nose or my feet. My hands and my feet sweat a lot so I don't like people touching my feet.

  Tostino Pizza rolls, any kind of pizza really
